Alrighty, peeps, Frances here with an update. Not a very important one, but I think it's cool =]] I have a e-mail pal!! Her name is Defne, and shes reallly nice. I just finished making her a powerpoint about my family. She made me 4 about Istambul, School, Turkish, and something else I can't remember.
Anyway, it's really cool to have a pal who knows what it's like to live in turkey. She's going to teach me some Turkish, and if you'de like to see the powerpoints she gave me, e-mail me at gagilagi@yahoo.com
Now, one question. Who reads this blog? I mean, I love writing in it, but I'm just wondering who reads it, so if someone could like, comment on an entry or something so I know who reads it. Just wondering.

Hi Francie,
I'll be looking forward to reading your blog, curious about what you think of Istanbul and your new friends. I am sure there will be things that you will not like or will find very weird, or amusing, but I guarantee you that you will have A LOT of fun as well. You must try the ice cream in Ali Baba's in Moda, which is on the ASian side of Istanbul. You would have to take a ferry ride, but it is a fun ride with great views for just about 20 minutes.

Thanks for updating the blog and the pictures. It helps a lot from the "aliment" we all have of missing you all and feeling a half a world away.'
We had a yard sale yesterday and made about $700. It was much work but helped clean out parts of the garage.
